2020 has been an emotional year that has brought a

2020 has been an emotional year that has brought a lot of uncertainty and change. Many of us are feeling the weight of the world ourselves. Major historical events are happening before our eyes and for some of us, it’s hard to not get involved or feel the energy of it all.

Being informed and involved is important, but understanding how to care for yourself along the way is even more important. Knowing how to cleanse your aura so you do not allow negative or heavy energy attach to you is powerful.

So, how can you cleanse your aura daily?💫

YOU decide what you let in. YOU decide how to spend your energy. If you don’t like what is going on around you, if there is too much drama in the content you are consuming or in the relationships you have, if you feel depleted from constantly giving to others and not to yourself - shut it down. Protect your energy. Take care of yourself.

If you are an empath it can be hard to tune out the noise and to not feel the pain, emotions, and energy of others and the world. Here are some tips to protect your energy:

1. Create limits and boundaries - be aware of how you are spending your time - with people, with content, with hobbies etc. What feels good? What do you need to protect yourself from more? What needs to change in order for you to feel fulfilled. Less social media? Less time with that friend who is always bringing you down? More time meditating or with people who lift you up? You decide.
2. Learn to say no - bye bye people pleaser and hello to stepping into your power. If something doesn’t align, it is OK to say no. This is your life and you should be living in alignment for what it right for you. When doing that you are able to nourish yourself and others in a way that is authentic and true.
3. Do a visualization exercise every morning - Everyday when you wake up visualize a clear bubble surrounding your body. This bubble is your protective layer. NOTHING can come into this bubble. Everything you see and experience is an observation that you can not absorb as your own. Throughout the day when situations arise, picture those experience bouncing off your bubble, not being able to have an impact on your grounded energy.
4. Have a cleansing ritual -There are many ways we can cleanse our aura - a hot/cold shower, visualization meditation, burning sage and cleansing yourself and your space, breathing exercises, journaling etc. Pick one and practice it daily
5. Honor your thoughts and feelings and come from a place of love and compassion for yourself and for others. Be love💫

It’s not the words of your intentions that manif

It’s not the words of your intentions that manifest your reality, it’s the VIBRATION of the energy of your intentions that attracts💫

So how do we raise our vibration to be at a high frequency to which we will attract what we desire?

Here are my top 11 go-tos for raising my vibration:

• Forgive 🙏🏼 when we are holding on to these feelings it keeps us in a low vibration. Let go. Share love

• Practice gratitude - there is always things to be grateful for. Write them down everyday

• Meditate - raise your consciousness and nourish your nervous system

• Take a cold shower - moves stagnate energy and provides physical benefits

• Listen to a soul bath (thank you @nicole_rutsch) sound healing has been so powerful for me

• Practice breathing exercises (thank you @mb.mannino) Anywhere. Anytime. Our breath is our most powerful tool

• Walk in nature - I really try to consciously take in my surroundings. Find gratitude for Mother Earth

• Turn the music up and dance around - such an easy shift and mood booster

• Consume high vibrational foods - fresh fruits, veggies are earth’s medicine. Food carries vibration - prana - life force. The more we consume the more it nourishes our vibrational energy

• Surround myself with people who make me feel good and lift me up

• Take note of what I am consuming: TV / Books / Social Media and make sure it is nourishing me and not draining my energy. Choose content wisely to promote my growth

Last night we lost my grandmother 💔 She was so

Last night we lost my grandmother 💔 She was so special to us and we will miss her dearly. She taught me how to live life to its fullest. She was always the life of the party - the first to come and the last to leave. She loved to dance, sing, and go out on the town. She loved socializing and just having fun! We would joke she was an energizer bunny and a little sassy too. She was also quite the fashionista. She had a passion for clothing and style. She was always dressed to the nines. When I was younger I loved playing dress up in her closet. And during a time when women were encouraged to stay home, she went out and got a job in retail. She worked for 20 years doing something she loved, and received many awards within her career for her work. A true testament showing that when you do something you love and you’re passionate about you succeed.

As she got older she got dementia and her memory started to fade. To be honest we have been mourning her loss for a couple of years now. But right before moving to NYC, she hugged me tight and said “life is too short, you do what makes you happy”.

Even with her illness worsening, in that moment, she never made more sense. She was so right. Do what makes you happy. Go after your passion. Enjoy every moment to the fullest. Attitude and mindset are everything. She was an example of that.

Losing two grandparents this year as been difficult, but I’m so grateful for all the memories over the years and everything I’ve gained from our relationships.

Hug your loved ones tight and enjoy everyday to its fullest.
